Position Overview:

The Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of spa operations, including managing the team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth. This role requires a balance of strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for the wellness industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management:
    • Oversee daily operations of the spa, including scheduling, inventory management, and maintenance of facilities.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
    • Maintain high standards of service excellence and ensure all staff are trained to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and manage spa staff, including therapists, receptionists, and support staff.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and development opportunities.
  3. Guest Experience:
    • Address and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
    • Enhance guest satisfaction by continually reviewing and improving spa services and facilities.
    • Develop and implement guest loyalty and retention programs.
  4. Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage the spa's budget, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
    • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve business goals.
    • Analyze financial reports and use data to make informed business decisions.
  5. Marketing and Sales:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the spa.
    • Identify opportunities for cross-promotions and partnerships with local businesses.
    • Drive sales through upselling services, products, and special promotions.
  6. Facility Management:
    • Ensure the spa's facilities and equipment are well-maintained and in excellent condition.
    • Coordinate with maintenance teams or external contractors for repairs and upgrades as needed.
    • Maintain inventory and oversee the purchasing of supplies and products.
  7. Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the spa's customer base and enhance service offerings.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and integrate new treatments, services, and technologies as appropriate.
    • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in spa management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of spa services, treatments, and wellness industry trends.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
